I stop by the Steaming Bean 90% of the time I'm passing by Pismo, even if I don't feel like a coffee. Their Kona Mocha uses dark chocolate which make such a difference. Delicious. They also have great food ( I get the breakfast burrito) and are a quick walk to the coastline.

I just found this hidden Gem after coming p here for 10 years and I am kicking myself in the foot! Very good breakfast food at great prices, friendly staff, and excellent coffee. I will see you guys again on my next trip up!
We stopped here while exploring the Pacific Coast Highway for breakfast and coffee. It’s right off the highway and easily accessible. The Gaddis bowl and Beachside burrito were excellent! A bunch of different coffees to choose from to give you that extra boost during your travels.
Great little coffee shop with your basic breakfast and pastries. Good coffee drinks at a reasonable price. Atmosphere is fun and hip.
Favorite place!!!! They have such unique and fun twists on typical drinks, so worth a stop!!

It's adequate when not busy. If a peak time, the wait can run 20-25 minutes. Now they've added an overbearing scent in the air, so we will just go somewhere else. Hanging for an hour to relax is a choice of nauseating VOCs, or traffic out front. Pass.

Very friendly service! Casual, relaxed atmosphere. Fantastic lattes! Best oatmeal ever (expensive, but large so might be able to share)! Good bagels & banana nut muffin. Delicious waffles! Really good hot chocolate for the kids!
They did not have the cold brewed coffee that I wanted. So I had to go with another choice. It was good but I was disappointed.

Wonderful food and excellent service! I had the veggie lovers sandwich and it was great! My partner had the Mediterranean Scramble and said it was a little plain but very light and fresh. We will back!

Descent local coffee house that serves rather basic fare.Nothing special in terms of food, since they really do not have a proper full kitchen. They mostly have items such as muffins & bagels.If you want a full breakfast with lots of attention, some of the hotels down the road are better choices. Service is what you would expect from a coffee shop. There is no view & it is not especially comfy inside. It feels cramped when crowded. Great staff! Unfortunately, out of Kona Mocha Coffee again (4th time). Owner, Amanda, let me know they have trouble obtaining powder from restaursnt supplier. Too bad. Steaming Bean was my go to coffee place.
